DS1200/450C: A Large Machining Center
The 1200mm U-Axis contour head with 3 separate tool pocket positions on a聽450mm stroke slide, make this machine the perfect size machine to cover the larger聽sizes with turning diameters up to 2000mm (78-3/4鈥�).聽
Features:
The contour head has all the functions of a CNC lathe, including constant surface speed, single point threading,聽and complete contour capabilities.
All tools are changed from the tool magazine聽directly into the quill spindle or any of the 3 tool pockets positions on the聽contour head.聽
The separate, 280mm diameter milling spindle with 700mm of 鈥淲鈥� axis stroke is聽great for all your heavy milling and drilling requirements. This spindle also has a聽built in u-axis drive to control tool changeable, 250mm contour heads for the聽smaller diameters that are very often found on the larger parts.聽This feature gives a lot of capabilities for smaller machining聽on a large capacity machine.
This machine can be equipped with a separate head聽rack that can change large boring bars, angle聽milling heads, and smaller high speed contour heads with lengths up to聽1200mm long, automatically聽onto the spindle.
